News of the Purple Project

Here are recent photos of my motor mount left side on the Purple Project. I've got the engine out right now and back at Custom Machine. It seems that after the Magnolia Car Show while doing some testing I noticed my oil pressure started acting up. The word from Custom is no damage to the engine, however the oil pump is getting changed out. So this is the perfect time to clean up my engine compartment and the motor mount I had to modify to clear the oil pump.

I've also sent my headers back to Jet Hot to recoat the headers. The first it didn't take and I've included the exhaust system to be coated also. Plus I sent some of my hardware to master craft for chrome platting. My goal is to have the Purple Project back on the street by the end of October. Stay tune for more photos to come.
